About Rogba Arimoro

Filmmaker, Producer, and Storyteller

My storytelling journey spans multiple creative industries, from founding an independent record label to working as a Deputy Creative Director in advertising, and eventually finding my true passion in film and television. What drives me is a desire to create stories that resonate with audiences, spark meaningful conversations, and offer new perspectives. My career began with Knighthouse Entertainment, a record label that played a pivotal role in the early days of Afrobeats, nurturing award-winning talents like Mo'Cheddah and Phenom. Transitioning from music to advertising, I honed my ability to craft compelling visual narratives as a creative director. Moving into film and TV, I produced and directed projects that earned both local and international recognition, including the legal reality series Judging Matters and the original drama series Refuge. Personal Anecdote: One of my most personal projects, Tokunbo, was shot entirely on a smartphone with a limited budget. Despite this, it gained critical acclaim and earned a spot in film festivals. This experience taught me that creativity, resourcefulness, and passion can turn even the smallest ideas into something extraordinary.
